    Laurel dropped by Saturday morning from college for a surprise home visit! During Sunday lunch, Laurel said, “Folks need to get beyond ‘hey’ and ‘how y’all?’”. What a great perception. Relationships are filled with “hey” and “how y’all” folks, or “hi” and “how are you guys” for my non-southern readers. Yet, we each long for friendships with depth. We desire to know and be known by those who love and accept us at each stage of life’s journey. I hope you have some people in your life that are more than “‘hey” and “how y’all”. If you do, treasure them. If you don’t, ask for them and be the one who sets the pattern. “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.”(Hebrews 10:24 ESV) Keep stirring, Doug
