Ian Finished 3rd In The Region
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12 ESV)
When Paul wanted to describe the nature of the spiritual conflict we face, he chose wrestling as his metaphor. We are in a battle each day and the struggle is not a distant concept but an intimate reality. The fight is not with the people around us contrary to how real those struggles often seem. There is a hidden realm where real warfare occurs and where victory is certain for those living in Christ’s Kingdom. We have all the weapons we need for victory.
For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. (2 Corinthians 10:4 ESV)
What are you wrestling with today? How’s the match going? Here are moves that will not only improve your score they will enable you to win the contest. Prayer, praise, worship, one another, the name of Jesus, the blood of Jesus are each part of our arsenal. Don’t run from the conflict, engage wisely and go for a pin in Jesus’ name.
