  1. To the King of ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.”
    (1 Timothy 1:17 ESV)

Jonathan Edwards was just shy of his 13th birthday when he became a student at Yale University. He lived a short life, 54 years, but had a long impact. Edwards was 17 years of age when he read 1 Timothy 1:17 and felt the weight of the Holy Spirit’s conviction. He caught a glimpse of King Jesus and forever settled his allegiance by yielding his life to the proclamation of the Kingdom of God.

God used Edwards to lead The First Great Awakening which included signs and wonders and resulted in thousands coming into the Kingdom of God. He was also a missionary to Native Americans, a prolific author, president of a seminary that we know today as Princeton, an advocate for the equality of women, and America’s preeminent theologian.

For this great man, everything hinged on an encounter with King Jesus when
Edwards was just 17 years old. Have you encountered the King? Whose kingdom are you declaring?

“And he will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and
make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.” (Matthew 6:33 NLT)

    Prayer
    Your Kingdom come.
